Wow I am thoroughly surprised at how Reba sounds here! It is more realistic and more refined when they have a southern gal playing a southern gal. I didn't mind her as Annie Oakley either. O'hara voice is lovely too in this part!

I have seen and heard many people play this role, and this is about the worse interpretation of Nellie Forbush I have EVER encountered!! What's with the annoying growling and that dumb accent?

Mary Martin was too yankee; Mitsy Gaynor was too refined--Reba was the only actress/singer who really interpreted this music the right way.
