  • Oh, this is so beautiful!!! I sang this oratorio two or three years ago, and I loved it, but it didn't sound anywhere near this amazing. (But then we're not Seraphic Fire!)

  • This gives me the chills... perfect blend of voices...and you can definitely reminisce in "And with his Stripes..." from "Messiah". Handel was a giant in his own right, despite this tune sounding very much like straight out of "Die Kunst der Fuge" from Bach. Excited to be singing this oratorio next month!

  • Ironically, (as much genius as Haendel is), it sounds like Purcell. :)

  • مصر ام الدنيا

  • Lovely, lovely, lovely. What a fabulous choir! Many have said this fugue is in the "style of Bach" - no, Handel was a master of the form too. He has kind of re-worked the first motif later in Messiah with "And with His stripes"

  • Top Quality choir. Great Handel Fugue.

  • A most poignant Chorus....the emotions which this chorus evokes....one is bereft of words to describe

  • Very good. The chorus is very good. 5 stars
