Terrible video. Flagged for Harmful Dangerous Acts

Dear Expertvillage,
Please stop posting climbing videos before you kill someone with your slipshod techniques... Flagged for harmful or dangerous acts.
-
I am a beginner to all this and even I was shocked at the technique used - t's all wrong!!
I have flagged this video under 'harmful dangerous acts' too.
-
I know many people have already said this but i cannot stress enough how important it is that you DO NOT USE this technique as it is a highly ineffective and unsafe method of belaying. If you wish to learn to climb, i strongly suggest you seek out advice from a competent individual or instructor who can teach you the correct and safe techniques.
PS. I flagged this video under 'harmful dangerous acts'
I ask you to do the same, lets get this unsafe video removed!!!
This is an INCORRECT method of belaying. Im posting here because I dont want beginners to think that this is an adequate technique.
When belaying, your hands should always hold the rope in a 'locked-off' position, down below the belay device. Holding the rope upwards (like in the video) provides no braking force if the climber were to fall and so the rope would pull through the belay device (and the belayers hands!). Always get somebody who has some experience to check your belaying if unsure.
