Last year, a few Marathon runners got very sick running in Hong Kong because of the pollutants blown from Mainland China! Not to mention, China is polluting Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Russia!

I went to Beijing and didn't die. In Sao Paulo, Brazil, sometimes I almost die of polution too. And wath about USA, that didn't sign the Kioto agreement to reduce carbon gas in the world?! This will be a great oportunitie to China to make a propaganda (marketing) of their countrie, but also for people from all over the world to see China for real, not only wath world press say about the country, but how it realy is, with it's problems and qualities!

Every country has its problems. USA is a Iraq killer, Brazil has lots of slungs and poor people, in europe they don't accept imigration from poor countries... Sports are good to make people together, but we realy canot forget all the problems you mentioned.

The participation on the games do hommage a brutal government. We can not do this!

A olympics-boykott don't comes to mark. After it, the tibetians shall be struggled much more than now!

Let these games start at another place in the world. Amerika, australia or europe have enough nice arenas for it. Germany with very new arenas (from the fottball-wm 2006) can organnize the alternative Olympic Games in the restly time.

Since when does China suck as usual or do those sneakers not come in size 5 for you? O and like China is the last to gain respect from other countries. Read the news in the last few years? North Korea isn't looking that great eh? Or how about the countries in the middle east? I would have to disagree that China sucks as usual. There are worse things going on than some sinking ship.

Chinese have a long way to go until they can truly earn the respect from the rest of the world. A Chinese ship recently ran into a Korean freighter and ran away leaving all 16 crew members on board the sinking Korean ship to their needless deaths. Sorry China, you still suck as usual.
