Made this last night, for a Christmas Cake, turned out sweet as a nut! (literally when it gets covered in Marzipan & Royal Icing)
Dunno why Fruit cake's so unpopular in America though :P

i think its that myth of the world ending, and all that remains are rats and fruit cakes and stuff... yeah,it doesn't add a good image to people. if you have had a bad fruitcake, you'll hate it for life.
