If BYU had won this game, they would have been National Champs. Remember, there was no BCS yet, & the Cotton Bowl was still considered a major bowl game.

1) i forgot that BYU wore all whites that game, i don't remember them ever doing that. and 2) BYU went 14-1 that year, this was their only loss.

Who would have thought at the time that Sarkisian would become the head coach at UW?! This is a man who knows what Washington should be and had done a great job so far.

That cotton bowl game was a fun game to watch against K-State. I remember being really bummed not to watch the Holiday Bowl because i was working that night. However after hearing the results I didn't feel that bad.
