I really look up to you for taking a stand on this!! And I thank you! I have a 9 yr old great-niece that has epilepsy & I would hate for her to search for something on seizures & run accross one of the ignorant, life-threatening videos. People who think it's funny are uneducated, have a sick sense of humor, have no respect for others & to keep from calling someone stupid, I'll just say they act out of stupidity! Keep up the good work & God bless you!

@ ChelleAmy I am heading off to do some much needed flagging. Thanks for posting this video

@ HeavenlyArmed I understand you mean no offense and that you are just asking why come to this video if your going to have a seizure. Truth is that there is no guarantee that this or any video will cause a seizure. It is a myth that flashing lights and etc will cause a seizure. I have fought having seizures over twenty years now and positive that no lights or videos ever caused a seizure. I am now seizure free for three months.

Thank you-- I am 40 was just diagnosed in March and I did search and I did see flashing lights and it did bother me. I wish people understood. We are not freaks, we are not strange we are people with misfiring neuurons in our brains. Thanks Chelle.

Great video, I have epilepsy too, and although I'm not photosensitive, I'm sick and tired of seeing these "funny" videos of "seizures" where you see someone, an idiot teen, fall in slow motion to the ground and start flopping about. These stereotypes are cruel and harmful.
I've lost count of the number of times that people I know have said they understand seizures and the different types, sometimes its just ignorance, other times they have seen a "seizure" video and assume theyr all the same

i have just flagged a video then came across this, and didnt realise there were more horrible ones out there i will help in getting these videos off this site

I'm doing my part here - I've flagged about 50 videos in the last month.
Some of the videos I flagged last month now include a "seizure warning" in the description, or have it incorporated into their title. Ideally, none of them would exist, but YouTube likely feels some responsibility to allow freedom of speech and creativity when the video isn't explicitly intended to entrap those with seizure disorders.
Your video is on my favorites list to remind me to donate some time with every visit.

Hi there-
Fantastic video, thank you for making it and putting the awareness out there about this horrific offense, I think you should write a petition to youtube (include some of those offenders screen names), send it to their Investor Relations Head (look on their corp. site) ... it is likely they will not tolerate this if they are tipped off.
Best of luck to you and I sincerely hope you are feeling better now!
I know that epilepsy is serious and I mean no offense but why go to these videos in the first place if there's a garuntee that you will get a seizure? Just asking I don't mean to be insensitive or anything but self precaution can help prevent these things.
I know now to stay away from the Jonas brothers music because I'm allergic to stupidity.

Thanks for commenting. You have made a somewhat valid point, However, if someone recently diagnosed with Epilepsy or someone who is really struggling with it's effects and the condition itself, they are likely to search for videos that can help them. The results aren't always so, and are triggering seizures left, right and centre. It's very cruel to name a mockery, or photosensitive provoking seizure "Epilepsy help" etc, and that's what we are trying to stop.

Guys,
Keep flagging, search under:
"Fake Seizure" "Epileptic Funny Seizure" "epilepsy test" "Self help for epilepsy" etc etc... we've now gone over 200, and I've realised a lot of these videos HAVE been removed! You are doing so much. Thank you all very much
