World war II D-Day to VE-Day (Coloured footage) [1/5]

Real footage of the actual world war II, filmed exclusively in colour, on the battlefield and the home front their cameras captured the conflict. For 60 years most of the footage was forgotten in attics, archives and even rubbish dumps. Rescued and restored the footage can now show the original colour film at last.

If only those who died for the sake of freedom were to see how self absorbed and disrespectful the majority of people are nowadays, especially in America. I'd hate to say that they died in vein, because they didn't. But where is the respect? Not just for the dead, but even nowadays, respect for fellow man is reaching an all time low. It only matters if it affects you, at least that is how it seems, and that is messed up.
