  • I have dvt in my leg and a pulmonary embolism on my lung. The doctor told me I had a few small blood clots on my lung. I'm on clexane, 110mg for 4 weeks then 40mg for 4 month. It's been nearly 3 month I've been on the clexane and my leg has calmed down apart from swollen ankle and when I stand for too long my calf muscle goes rock solid. I am wondering how long will it take for my body to break down the clots?
