Ten Penny (7)encore, "All Along the Watchtower", 3/10/08

Ten Penny ended an awesome show 3/10/08 at Local 506 (Chapel Hill NC) with a much-loved Dylan cover ,"All Along the Watchtower". The mood was just so great at this show, so casual and laid back, that when John Dixon succumbed to consider a second encore, Sean Deegan's startup of this classic took over, a la Jimi Hendrix mostly. I had to post this first, because if I were to post just one song from this show, this was my biggest surprise! [Note: regular drummer James Phillips was on tour with his other band, Bombadil, so a guest drummer filled in whose name I missed. Thomas Moorefield is on pedal steel; you can see him later in the video.
