Yeah you should probably be good to go then.
I suppose I'm also a bit of a bass head now and then, so long as it's good music. I used to have an 18" sub in my room running off an HK. Decided I could bridge the amp one day..... insane punch for a while, till it ripped my 18 in half. Literally. The Magnepans need rebuilt too :-P Down to my sickly Polks now.
Anyways, check out No.1 Crush - it's amazing.
Really hits it's stride around 1:50 in.

of course I have a good sound system, I am afterall a basshead fur :3 (2 15s in my bedroom currently, only 300 watts rms per sub, its enough to get deep bass above 120db, has a usuable range down to UNDER 20hz, you can actually hear down to about 17hz)

Try cranking up Legacy of a Boy from their album Under Cover if you want to really get a song stuck in your head. It plagued me for several days when I 1st heard it, and there was nothing I could do but keep playing it.......not that I minded :-)
And if you have a really good sound system, check out No.1 Crush from that album as well. It has one of the best basslines I've ever heard in any form of music.
