MAME: Strike Force (Arcade)

Strike Force ist ein Remake von Defender und eines der besten Arcade Shoot 'em Ups die ich kenne! Unglaublich was man manchmal so abseits des Mainstreams findet, das ist mir früher irgendwie total entgangen, wobei vielleicht gab es den Automaten ja hier auch gar nicht mehr...

Die ganzen Kolonisten, Gegner und Extrawaffen im Auge zu behalten fand ich ziemlich schwierig. In dem Spiel gibt es eine Menge zu entdecken, diverse Innenlevels und ein paar Megamonster die jetzt hier nicht zu sehen sind, inklusive.

Von den selben Machern dürfte auch Smash T.V. und Total Carnage stammen, noch so abgedrehte Aracade Shooter, das ist jedenfalls die selbe Handschrift!
Das ist bestimmt ein echter Münzschlucker gewesen, wenn man damit Spaß haben will sollte man sowas aber auch nie einfach mit unendlich Credits ausspielen. Ich kenn das Outro jedenfalls noch nicht! :D

Why Midway put Wacko instead of this game on Midway Arcade Treasures 2 is beyond me.

Thanks for uploading; I played this game to death in the arcade, Did anyone else deliberately lose two ships in a row on the first planet to get the turret powerup right off the bat?

I played the prototype of this game when it was called, "Saurian Front," at an arcade called, "Diversions," in a suburb of Chicago. Once I got the turret, I would go for the mothership. If you beat the mothership, then the game would end, and you would get a free credit to play again, but I'd be tired by then. Is there an official port to the PC?

@TheMengDynasty Like I said earlier, use MAME. Or better yet, if you have a modern system, MameUI. Then just download the ROM. Runs great.

I am simply amazed this game hasn't been included in any console compilation. This, Smash TV, Total Carnage and NARC represent Midway's golden age IMO.

This is the best video game ever! And I am THE BEST at this game. The best on earth and have been searching for it ever since the death of arcades. Anyone know where it can be found online?
