Just me and my acoustic guitar set to an amazing video. I recorded this song a few days after writing it ... so, only a handful of people have heard it prior to now. And well, it is a little raw, basic and unmixed -- yours truly in his purest form -- my songwriter side.

A very special THANK YOU goes out to my dear friend Ice (2icecantata) in Chile for making this super professional video. I am so honored and impressed at how she captured the true essence of the song. And, I also want to thank her and another wonderful friend Des for encouraging me to share my acoustic work with the world. So, depending on the feedback I get on this tune, I might release more songs in the coming weeks. I hope you enjoy this unplugged, acoustic side of me -- and of course, Ice's (aka Itchy Knee's) amazing video!!! Peace, Mike

  • @thebluesrockers Hey Joe, as always, thanks for your nice words man. Always nice to hear from you. Hope all is well and your week is off to a great start ... Mike

  • I was so excited about the song, I forgot to compliment on the video work. ;-)

Your friend Ice is very talented and creative in making videos. I love this video!

    Great work, Ice!!

  • @kumhuimusicgirl Oh yes Kumhui, you are so right. This video amazed me! In essence, Ice brought this song to life -- one that would not be on youtube if not for her. At first, I did not think the recording was good enough -- but, Ice liked it & chose this song from a few rough acoustic things I sent her. She felt it should be heard & the professsionalism of this video gave me the courage to release it . Thank you for recognizing her as well.

  • After reading up on chord progressions vs. pitch in voice, this article suggested I look up your song. And then it hit me, I picked up the guitar and I couldn't believe it. I've been playing acoustic for about 4 years and I love to sing but was never able to put the two together until tonight. Thank you for being a piece of the puzzle to show me the way. Freakin' awesome!!!

  • @Teapartyla BTW -- I was curious what "article" you were referring to ... after all, I am pretty much an unknown singer/songwriter in the grand scheme ... Mike

  • Mike, you really are a truly talented person!! So far I have heard 5-6 of your songs and none of them sound similar to the others. That shows how versatile your ability is to write music and perform. Your voice has a lot of edge in this song, which is very unique and uncompromising. I always love hearing songs with just an acoustic guitar and vocals, and this one is one of the best I have heard.

  • @iriewaregl I'm looking at my history and can't find it, but something definitely sent me to your video no doubt

  • @Teapartyla I am so glad that one of my songs has helped you in such a way. I wish you all the best with you singing & guitar playing. Just go with your instincts man ... peace, Mike

  • @MrKennyMiles Thank you very much for taking time to listen and comment ... peace, Mike
