i recently came across your video on unmounting stamps and using the foam mount. I bought everything from ebay same as you anyway does the foam stand up to cleaning with stamp cleaner for a long time and if so are you still happy with the product of the foam? i only bought a few sheets to try it out. not sure if i should get more. enjoyed your videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what is the name of that foam you use if it's not EZ mount?

OK! Did some research on YellowBook's site, and found a store mostly for stamping, and they have it for 4.95 (not bad for being EZMount brand) so yah. it's only 20 mins away from me.
anyone in Ohio - go to Stamp Your Art Out on Kenwood Road!! Seriously!!

yeah i've come across this "stores don't carry ez mount" in quite a few places now; figures!
yeah i thought i found 1 seller selling the white kind (with the turtle) for like 2.95, and one seller (same kind) for 3.95. way cheap! :)
Do you think that your remounted stamps stamp as clear of an image when they are on the acrylic blocks as they do when they were on the wooden blocks. I watched another video in which the lady said that the image wasn't as clear.

Mine are just as clear. When I'm stamping, whether it be with clear acrylics or rubber stamps, I always use my foam stamping surface (you can also use a mousepad), so that the images always come out good and clear! I also use my Rock a Blocks, which are amazing!

amazing video ... thank you . I was thinking as I was watching if you owned a light box that would also be handy to lay the foam on and then add your unmnted stamp on top. love the video.

You're welcome! That's a great idea about the light box...it would really, really help when doing this!!!

so i saw the vid by hidilily (sp?) where she put them in the microwave to get the rubber from the wood - but i don't remember her taking the foam from the rubber... there's stickiness on the foam then that'll stick to the acrylic block - or so I thought that's what she was doing.
or am i wrong? is that just the whole wrong way to do it & an easy way of stickying up your blocks? Ugh!!
plus idk what to do with my wood blocks now that there's nothing on them LMAO reuse them yeah but how!?

I've never seen EZ Mount in the stores. You have to order it online. I would suggest Ebay, because there is a seller who sells the white foam like what I'm using and it's half the price! :o)
