This video is part 3 of the first video from the "Free Association Series". It is an interview video in which I answer questions emailed to me from the A.R.M. (Anti-Religious Movement) out of the UK. You can check them out at www.myspace.com/antireligousmovement. "Free Association" will also be the title of my 3rd album now in progress. Free Association is a process founded by Sigmund Freud used in psychoanalysis where a patient says whatever comes to mind. Since that is what most people seem to be doing here on youtube I thought I would try to doing the same and have thereby labeled my videos under that name. I have been studying psychoanalysis all year in my Master's program for psychology and have decided to label my videos and title my album in honor of Freud and his legacy. I hope you all enjoy the first of the "Free Association Series", and the many more that may come. Thanx to everyone who has supported my music and philosophy over the years, much love

  • I really love your music, and it's so funny hearing you say about how you'd love to go to the UK seeing as you've now studied here. But around 5:00, wow, Islamophobic much? "It looked like a damn Al Qaeda convention"?

  • @JinMakkto= ya, I admit that wz an Islamaphobic comment. That wz the 1st time I'd seen Muslims in their white garb all in one place. However, since living in the UK, I've changed my views through experience. I'm Mexican-American. There aren't many of us in the UK, probably none in Liverpool, but there is a large Muslim community. There skin is brown like mine. I couldn't help but identify with them. Especially since everytime I got a kebab, they'd ask me if I wz arab, and I'd chat with them.

  • I got a new laptop so I got to rate you five stars this time. lol

    Nathalie.

  • wurrrd, thanx for having my back AK, much love...

I think you're right on on this point. And I think more people who are not religious should focus on presenting themselves in terms of what they are and do believe. It only hurts the cause in trying to win people to willingly relate in a way that says "I'm not what you are" (which they interpret as I lack what you have.)

  • @myintellectualjourny = thanx man, I appreciate that, I am trying to keep it positive!

  • You and Greydon have totally different styles, you just have similar subject matter. You can both lay down the lyrics and beats. I would hope there is room for both of you.

Personally, I like your lyrics and greydon's beats. I'd love to see you guys team up actually.

  • (1) Right on. The term "atheist" is a strange thing in our culture. Telling people your a non-theist (atheist) is like telling people your a non-irish, non-Muslim or whatever else you're not.

  • I just hit it up with a 5 star... we'll get it back up.
