Winter in Armenia / Ski resort Tsakhkadzor

The Armenian Ski fields in Tsakhkadzor were the training grounds for the Soviet Olympic team.

The town hosted the USSR Olympic team in 1976, before the Olympics in Mexico.
In Tsakhkadzor is located the Main Sports Complex of Armenia (former USSR main sports complex).
It's height above the sea level is 1900-2100m.
