Samsung ST1000, don't buy this camera!

Kameramallissa on joku vakava suunnitteluvirhe. Kamerassa on gps-ominaisuus. Se ei kuitenkaan toimi, vaan kamera menee tilttiin kun sen pitäisi saada sijainti. Tätä upouutta kameraa ovat yrittäneet korjata yli 2 kuukautta, mutta eivät ole saaneet kuntoon. Kamerani on tällä hetkellä edelleen jossain, huollossa kai? Samsungin yrityskulttuurin mukaisesti eivät myöskään lähetä uutta tilalle.

This camera model has a serious design error. The camera has a GPS feature. It does not work, but the camera goes to tilt. They have tried to repair this brand new camera for over 2 months, with no success. My camera is still somewhere, I don't know where? According to Samsung's corporate policy they do not send a new replacement.

This camera model has a serious design error. The camera has a GPS feature. It does not work. In this film camera jam twice. They have tried to repair this brand new camera for over 2 months, with no success. My camera is still somewhere, I don't know where? According to Samsung's corporate policy they do not send a new replacement, but after some very angry telephone calls they promised to send my money back. I am still waiting for the money...

hi ppl, i bought that camera one month ago and never had any ploblem with the GPS activation, besides when i took some pic with the GPS i was surprised with the exactitude of the coordinates... but i had another problem, my camera freezed when i played recorded videos, finally the problem was in the memory (microSD), i replaced it and everything went OK... well that was my experience, thanks.

I have this camera for a year (ST1000) and I've been in love with it. But now I have similar problem as this video. It started with the return button not working, but now the whole left menu column buttons do not work. I tried to upgrade firmware using Intelli-Studio, however, Intelli-Studio has been saying that the camera is not supported.S#$%! Does anyone knows where can I download the files for a full firmware upgrade using SD card? Thank you very much for any help or intelligent comment

Anyway, don't buy this camera, GPS function DOES work and Wi-fi great to send photos. BUT, it has major errors with touch screen, and it is impossible to calibrate (touch screen), so in case that touch screen won't work, there is no other way to access menu functions. The only troubleshoot suggestion from the manufacturer is to...REMOVE the Battery!!! and put it back in. LOL trust me it doesn't make anything.

I have this camera and it works Great .... I dont know what is the problem in yours m8 ... My only thing i can complain is it dosent get good picture durin night

@duckmanlazio if it's stuck like that, it means that it's probably a chinese one, Samsung usually don't have those kind of problems, especially not Samsung and Apple too! my advice for you is to buy it to a very well known store or even right away in Samsung, either online, either in store, it's up to you

I use this camera for 10 months, made a lot of images and hours of video, but have NO PROBLEM!
