I've wanted a rocky mountain horse since I could remember. I've always had this perfect image of a chocolate horse with a long flaxen mane and tail with no markings other than a star.

I always wanted a Rocky Mountain there so Beautiful.. Not only all horses are Beautiful! but Rocky Mountains are so interesting Colored with There mane and tail. :)

Very nice video! It made me slow down a bit and enjoy the view of "both of the types of Rockies". I have two mares myself and will never own any other breed. They are a treasure!

I love the blonde mane on the dark horses.. Is there a name for this special coloring? thanks for this vidoe. Beautiful land, incredible horses!

The color comes from the Silver Dapple gene. There are other breeds that carry this characteristic such as Shetland Ponies. The color can be called chocolate with a blond or platinum mane and tail, and can also be a red chocolate with the same. Thanks for your question Robin!
