The problem here is that there is some false dichotomy that the only answer is stay in 37th place or pass Congress's particular version of reform.
I'm all about reform, but what is proposed is NOT the kind of reform I want.
The issue is not & should not be the current proposed plan being shoved down our throat or else no reform at all.
The question should be, if we agree on some kind of reform, which of the 1000's of possible forms should it take. Let's take time & really look at options.
37th place by what standard? By itself, "37th place" doesn't mean anything. More info, please. Is it doctor-to-patient ratio, cancer survival rates, AIDS research funding?? The sad thing is, people who see this ad will parrot this statistic without knowing what it means. But then again, that's probably the intended goal of the makers of this ad...
good ad. BUT asking the gov't to manage healthcare is like asking a jackhammer worker to be your dentist. no, wait! more like asking a rapist to watch your child, or a thief to watch your valuables.
fire the federal gov't and america might once again be something the world looks up to.
