I am personally and spiritually indebted to the creators of this work--Ennio Morricone for the hauntingly beautiful musical compositions, and Robert Bolt, Roland Joffé, the Waunana et al. for making the film "The Mission." I cannot say how many times over how many years I have listened to this music, and how much time I have spent contemplating the meaning of this tragedy.
