yeah, ernie was the creator of the bowling balls you all use now... basically reactive resin balls are not fully cured plastic/rubber balls that they used in the past... he's the reason every untalented piece of crap thinks they can shoot 220 everywhere they go, and if they don't, they go somewhere else, which is why there's hardly any real competition in bowling anymore, because people don't like to think they suck as bad as they really do when on a tough lane condition. That's why I quit.

Before you dump on Ernie, please remember that he needs all that time to allow his eyes to focus, since he has very poor vison...he was psyched out by the shot clock, unfortunately.

ernie used to sheat back in the 70's by freezing his bowling balls before the offical derometor test. He would soak his equipment in the hotel bath tubs with something like nail polish remover to soften the ball then freeze it so it would pass the hardness test at the offical check in before each tournament. He was finally caught after the hotels kept complaining that their bath tubs were getting ruined by the bowlers. The tubs were turning black. He was a real piece of shit.

Schlegel and Holman are the two biggest asswipes on the PBA. Both frustrated old school pricks...
The bowlers that came out of the 80's - 90's are the greatest of all. Duke, Weber, Williams, Monacelli, Barnes, Vespi, Voss, Mazza, Ozio... all the true greats!
