@instantdeath99 He could also be considered a renegade cop breaking the law to set things right. He knows that he cannot stay within our flawed law system to overcome the obstacles thrown in his way. I just love though how this character, I won't say his name just to steer clear of spoilers, is detrimental to the plot. Rise of the Scarecrows wouldn't be the same without this abusive, cold-hearted, lovable anti-hero.

@instantdeath99 I named my child Tony and changed my last name to Brown JUST because of this movie. We are forgetting the main reason we are here, the main reason is to discuss how this movie UNDERSTANDS domestic abuse and is trying to make it aware to the general public. Another great scene is when Officer Brown reflects on his past, really reflects on capitalist America in a satirical but also tasteful way. Back to this scene, I really think it captures the conflict of abuse in our world today
