The greatest! An inspiration and all say is sad reminder of what skating "used" to be like. We were so inspired and moved, now we are confused as we try to tally the points. What happened to flawless beautiful skating??!! Alexei you are a reminder of the greatness this sport has left behind.

Thanks for no commentators... Really, americans never really apreciated him especially Dick Button...( I mean american commentators). And his skating- as breathtaking as it is by itself- doesnt really need anything else. Not much to say..., nothing to add.

Yes, he does, jealous Plushenko fan. I'm sorry to break it to you but Plushy never became a complete skater, not only artistic-wise, but even technically. His footwork was nonexistent comparing to Yagudin's, his spin was never as good either.

I have to give him some credits. Plushenko not in the competitions, he still did 4-3-2 . However, without a 3ax-3 and a bubble , did he deserve 5.8-5.9s in the technical merits?

Wow. Check out the crowds streaming down to rink level after his performance. Skating has been so boring, comparatively, since he left.
