Well-i had my first guitar lesson from Dan ohara and some after that -great advice and inspirational stuff--now i am a pro-player i know looking back that he was a deadly player tho at the time too young to really get it-well what more can i say-Dano was an inspiration to me and a lot of players all around ireland and beyond and fair play to Declan Nerney for taking the time and effort to honour the man-The Legend of the irish music scene-Peace:

What a lovely tribute to a lovely man. One of Ireland's unsung heroes. He lived very close to me in Cookstown and was a Gentleman in all respects. I know all lovers of country music will tell you that Dano was the best and I'm sure Mary must get great consolation to see how many people appreciated her Husband. Francie.
