SLS is used in many products, this is true, but what you are overlooking is the fact that is is used in different concentrations. Shampoo is one of the lowest. Other detergents use SLS at very high concentration. TiGi, the makers of S-Free Shampoo, is still selling shampoos containing SLS, so they can't be too concerned with the ingredient. They are, like so many other "Pro" hair care lines, simply marketing to a select grouop of individuals who are on this "going green" kick.
