@CloseToComfort Just want to point out that this is from 2005. Touring constantly and not getting sleep (they've always toured in a van, not a comfy bus) is so horrible for your voice especially if you don't know how to take care of it or if you've never learned proper technique to prevent damage from happening. All of which I'm sure has had a huge effect on his voice.

i used to play in this band before mckenzie (far left) and i wrote part of this song including the delay part)...they aren't a band anymore...lots of great memories!!

I aggree it sucks they dont play this stuff anymore :( But his voice used to be great live when I saw them like 2004 or 5...but then the extensive touring for i am hollywood just wrecked his voice permanently :( which really is a shame because he had in my opinion pretty much the best voice ever.
Stll he is legend is awesome no matter what :)

Yeah they talked about the vocal change when Suck Out the Poison came out. I think it just came from touring and possibly smoking and such. I like how his voice sounds in a way, but I wish it was more of a choice and not a permanent change because I like all the albums.
