New Neerup and Tobaccos. There is a song playing towards the end of the video. If you listen closely, you'll notice I am the one drumming on the track. I don't know how you'd know that, but now you do because i told you.
Ooops. Sorry. You already have some St. James flake. The McClellands 2015 is actually St. James flake from England. Gawaith makes it. Good stuff. Rub it out, let it dry a tad and it's excellant.
Try some Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake and some St. James Flake if you get the chance. The St. James is heavier on the perique than the Stokkebye but they are both excellant. Altadis makes a clone of Dunhills Elizabethan.
that's a cool pipe! I have a tin of scottish cake sitting on my shelf right now as well. I've smoked samples from a friend and it's fantastic. But I've got too much tobacco to get through right now.
Really like the video - interesting and useful content, and cool music at the end. Thanks! That Neerup is SWEET. Tell us how it smokes. I prefer flatter bits myself - much more comfortable to hold in your teeth.
McConnell's Scottish cake has a wonderfully sweet and smokey Red, with Périque to give it a peppery edge; it's a great old blend. The Queen of V/P blends is Escudo Navy de Luxe.
You'll love Old Gowrie. It's naturally sweet and mellow, if you smoke it slowly. (Virginia will BURN you if you don't!) Hal o' the Winds is slightly more astringent and "stoved"—not as lovely as O.G., imoho.
My favourite Rattray Virginia was always Marlin Flake, which I'm not sure if they still make.
cool song! almost has the same reverb sound as the band My Morning Jacket.
nice vids
