This was not a violent arrest. They had a large number of officers so that he was arrested in a controlled way. Don't know the usual procedure is down under but I'm sure is not an automatic arrest.... Maybe he could have just been civil to the officer and accepted a fine. So what he was arrested in front of his son. That's his bad. Should have done everything he could to avoid it happening. Take responsibility for your actions an set an example to your kids i say.

it takes 5 cops to arrest an old guy for J walking, real pathetic. I had cops hasseling me out and threatening my infant children and i put in a complaint, now when the cops check out my name through radio they let me go straight away haha its probably on the system.
