Srirangam is the first & foremost of the 108 Vaishnava Divya Desams. It can be considered to be the biggest functioning Hindu temple in the world as it covers an area of about 156 Acres with a perimeter of 4 km.
Sri Adi Shankaracharya, Sri Ramanujacharya, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and many other known & unknown saints have visited this temple in the last 1100 years of its history.
Every Sanatani Hindu must visit Srirangam at least once in their lifetime.
