The usual suspects - Peter Bruntnell, Jim Jones, Douglas E Powell and Robin Courtnage playing live at the Aggi in Braunton, Devon on Saturday 28th march 2009 in aid of paddle4relief - trying to raise money to build 10 new wells for families in Sri Lanka - the forgotten victims of the Tsunami disaster. Each well costs 150 quid to build and gives work to local builders. £3.50 on the door - all money goes to paddle4relief - Tim Tanton will be going back to Sri Lanka in 2009 to help build wells and all the money goes directly to the well building - nothing syphoned off to local officials or 'lost' on the way. What price for clean drinking water ? In 2008 Paddle4relief gave clean and safe drinking water to over 40 families and this year they are trying to do the same again. Visit paddle4relief.co.uk to find out about this years fund raising events including beach cleans, gigs, paddle events and sand castle building comp.
We were to have the Devil delta blues playing too but now its only front man Robin Courtnage so there should be lots of improv blues! The previous Aggi gigs have been fantastic so dont miss out on this one!
