Problem in T:A isn't terminal velocity. Problem is how acceleration is crippled from a standstill. Once you're off everything is fine but the "build up time" is too high compared to previous titles and the class in this video is the only one with acceptable acceleration( nitron charges+ DJ) mayyybe a Ranger with egocentric perk thumper spamming but yeah... yay for the stupid auto self regen huh? /facepalm.

@Zarenthar Yeah pretty much. Without egocentric and regen, decent speed wouldn't even be possible. So.. I'm not sure what they will do about that, if anything lol.

I ski exactly the same as you do and I almost never get above 180

@TobiasMakesNoise Hahaha.. Well, energy conservation and bouncing are key I would say. Always improvising a good route is very important of course, but it's useless if you aren't steadily climbing up in speed over time. Save as much energy as possible where you know there isn't going to be downhill or flat land so that you can jet and still keep your speed. And once you start getting 200+, constantly bouncing and using very little jetpack in flat areas will immensely increase your speed as well.

I keep seeing people say this phrase, "too fast," and I just don't understand what it is that you mean. If you fail at anything in this game, you obviously weren't going fast enough.
