The Speaker of the Missouri House, Steve Tilley, advocates for local control of the St. Louis Police Department. He's gone so far as to appoint an ally of the New Black Panther Party to chair the committee that the Local Control bill (HB 71) was assigned to. Tilley's demonstrated a lack of judgement and opportunistic leadership in his rush to get the Local Control bill passed.

  • i think i should go back home and leave missouri the show me state thats the problem you ca't tell them nothing you have to show them , and that is not always good sometime you have to listen

  • I'm more outraged at the corruption that went on under former police chief Joe Mokwa! Cops dealing drugs,stealing, World Series ticketgate,money stolen from the evidence room and the towing scandal.Prime reasons why we need local control! Gary Wiegert has no credibility with me,I don't trust anyone that has worn a toupee!!

  • ...poor people are poor when you have all the fing money! Poor people comit crimes, if you want to prevent this DO SOMETHING TO EDUCATE THE POOR PEOPLE AND BRING JOBS HERE RATHER THAN COMPLAINING ABOUT STUFF THAT SIMPLY DISTRACTS YOU FROM ACTUALLY SOLVING REAL PROBLEMS!
