A circus bedroom theme is an exciting décor idea for your kids' room. In this video, Pottery Barn Kids Painting Stylist Maura Garrity demonstrates how to paint a dramatic and fun circus bedroom.
Maura gives her walls a white base coat using the White Dove shade from Benjamin Moore before marking vertical measurements for converting the walls into the striped tent of her circus bedroom theme. It is important to keep the measurements similar in order to create a visual symmetry. She uses tape to mark areas for creating the stripes and paints them in white.
To create the swag, any round object can be used. Here, Maura uses a compass to create the shape. She tells us that all that is needed is a steady hand with which she paints the swag following the outline. Once the paint is dry it is time to take off the tape. The circus bedroom is ready for your kids to have fun with animals and acrobats. Maura suggests using Pottery Barn Kids Benjamin Moore Paints for creating the wonder of the Big Top with the circus bedroom.
