No doubt if the day ever came where there are more FEMALE game show hosts than males, women wouldn't be the slightest bit interested in scaling back their presence to a mere 50%, allowing men their equal, fair share of the spotlight.

7:53 "There has not been a particular female hostess hosting a successful show for a period of time...if that ever happened, then everyone would think 'oh my gosh, women hosts are in'!" Well, Meredith Viera has been hosting Millionaire since 2002 (which was airing when this interview was shot), and she has been critically (and popularly) lauded and the show has been successful. Disappointed Trebek overlooked this. Also, there has not been an influx of women hostesses; Alex is incorrect here too
