They were recognized by it, so their record label put it on their CD's and everything just so that people would know it was the Jonas Brothers and fans will find their things more easily. It was never official, it's for recognition.

@ComputerzFreak101 we all know JB means a lot of things. But the Jonas brother's logo is JB. They are the official JB. IT's on all their album covers and merchandice. It was their thing. Every other singer/something that is called jb isn't offical. Jonas Brothers r the official JB :) :)
