Hi all! This video was created by Group 9 for our ALA 100 Introduction to Environmental Design Field Exercise 4. Basically, the objective of this field exercise was to create a device that was neither hand nor foot operated, and is connected to the body and enhances our natural movement to pick up cans around Arizona State University.
We created the device completely out of recyclable material, i.e. balsa wood, recyclable tape and chicken wire, and is operated by momentum and mimics the natural movement of walking, to encourage a sustainable and environmentally responsible attitude while using our device, which we have named, The Swing. I hope you enjoy this video as much as we did, and if you have time, do check out the trailer version of this movie too. Good day!
