Carl was probably WITH April Wine at the time. I remember seeing them in Saskatoon about 2004 with Nick Gilder and Dr. Hook. Carl was playing in April Wine and then after he came out and did his own thing... he did this song at that time as well as Who'll Stop the Rain and some Coney Hatch stuff. I met April Wine and Carl after the show... Carol was nice, friendly and left me with a good impression. April Wine on the other hand couldn't wait to leave.

Has a nice style.... Like him on his own, didn't like him fronting the GW where he really didn't belong. Sounds a bit like Boston here.
