I saw him play in Boston last year and he had a much more abbreviated backhand, looks more like his old one here in this vid.

Judging a player based only on slams is a very modern and very misguided way to do it.
For one thing, in Borg's day top players did not play the Australian. Nor were players judged based on slams.
I am not even arguing for Borg here... just against the slam count as the measure of greatness

he surely has great accomplishments,
he may still be good in his strokes,
but from his shape i think he needs more workout.
no offence.

One thing about Borg was he was a great athlete. It's hard to compare with the modern generation though.
