The Sadducees and Pharisees, the Religious Elite, were Christ greatest detractors and ultimately the ones who sold him out to be crucified. He made stern warnings to beware, "Among you are wolves dressed in sheeps clothing." He further proclaimed that many would stand before him and cry, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?" I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness."
