This is a wonderful solid , beautiful blanket. I am am new again to the world of crochetteing and even then, didni't get into the technical stitches. I have 2 baby blanket in the works, bith of which are free style and basic. I would love t make one like this but not the squares. Is that possible. I want something solid, and warm and cozy. If so can you email me oprivately ? thanks!

@looney2nzs Do you mean one solid piece? You can go to the Tunisian crochet tutorial on my channel. It's also known as the afghan stitch. You do need a special hook for that.

Can u use like only alittle bit of yarn?

@thekittykayleigh Well, you can make it with scraps if that what you mean, but you need a lot of yarn to make a blanket.

@nicolehockeygirl If you go into the second chain instead of the first, then you will be short by a chain.

@greeneyedmonster6 I had this problem too. It seems that I need two more chains. I did work in the bump in the the back, like Beth said.
