  • Hi,

im a 14y teen, whos been playing harp for 8 years, bass for 1 year, and want to start to play keys.

i have no idea what to buy, and looking for +- 250 euros/300 dollars

i still need to learn the technique, so is this a good one to start with?

i want to use my keys in a band, like secondary for bass as primary, and use is for intro's and stuff.

    What should i get?

Could anyone please help me with choosing something that is good to learn on (not to small keys) but useful live.

    Thanks!

  • I would NOT recommend the microstation for a beginner. Go for something with hammer action! Maybe a Casio Privia or a used Yamaha P80, Roland FP7?

  • hehe, so sweet keys. I would like to put my big hands on that keys :D.

Great playing, great harmonies. Wher did you learn that harmonies? Im classical pianist... All best!

  • @predoje thanks for your compliments! nothing too special about the chords i'm playing, maybe do a google search on "rootless voicings" to find out about it?

  • i like how this guy can actually groove the harmonies 99% right, good job, nice synth

  • @SorcererOnDope thanks! the microstation is really nice, unfortunately it's got stolen out of my car recently. i really miss it!

  • Exelente! :)

  • Sooooooooo the micro keys not too small for play......

  • @thornboy It's a great small board for travelling & pracitising in hotel rooms! Sometimes on gigs I use it on the 2nd tier above my nord stage for playing left hand bass.
