On October, 22nd 2009 a Britten Norman Islander 2, of Divi Divi Air, ditched in the sea close to the island of Klein Bonaire. Pilot reported enroute that one engine was out and needed priority landing in Bonaire. He didn't make it and ditched in the sea. All 9 passengers survived the crash, except the pilot who didn't get out. Possible he lost consciousness during the impact and didn't react to escape. Passengers tried to helped him but it didn't help. This is a video dedicated to the PJ-SUN, captain Robert Mansell, the survivors and the family of Divi Divi.

I never knew Robert Mansell in person...I'm from New York City but it touched me deep inside when I heard about what he did. This person is a true hero and I just know that he is happy in Heaven. God keep his soul. And as for the Mansell family, stay strong just like Robert was, okay? You'll be in my prayers. Take good care Robert. I never got to know you, but I will carry on with your selfless example and dedicate my time to my parish, to my youth group, and to the less fortunate. Thank You.

My heart goes out to the family of this young man. I flew that route many hundreds of times and the beauty of the place and the people somehow does not go together with the tragedy. May he rest in peace and may all his loved ones find peace in his memory.

look what are you saying pj-sun is one or the first plane divi divi owned from the britten series and to you miss this plane need to make profit but pj-sun was a plane everyone can trust it flies more then any other britten in divi divi fleet
