@larsiemannen That wasn't the point I was making. My point is that it is impossible to prove the existence of an immeasurable quantity. You asked a valid question, and so I answered with as valid an aswer as possible. Everything I said was factually correct: that a belief in god is as unquantifiable as a belief in tarot cards, so a comparison is still warranted. And so the question of trying to prove that which is immeasurable is irrelevant. And what did you mean by harder to prove a non-god?
@Forlo12345 How to prove which is unprovable? Wouldn't that be an obviously wrong attitude to reality itself? it's like asking someone to fly to the moon by waving their arms! Oh, btw, what is a proof for you? What the majority of men can see only? And do you realize that its even harder to find proof of a non-God than that there is a God?
@larsiemannen There is no evidence supporting tarot card predictions or the existence of god. Sick people will either go to tarot card readings or pray to their god(s) for a cure, and the probability of their getting better is never higher than the random probability of getting better spontaneously. In fact, you have a higher probability of getting better by the placebo effect in both instances. The way I see it: a belief in god is indeed comparable to a belief in tarot.
I disagree with Stossel on one point. Michael Shermer is Damn Sexy !!

In sum: Most people are pathetically credulous and abjectly ignorant of science.
