  • would a crimper with bigger waves gives you more volume? or is it just gonna make the crimp show?

  • @MsWucheria yea bigger crimps will more likely show unless you have really really thick hair, but then you wouldn't need this anyway, hahahaha

  • those stairs look so steep

  • I think people in the US don't use crimpers because of all the bad 80s hair memories.

  • @aznpop54 There is this thing called acquisition. People acquire "stuff" with money or other means, "stuff" don't magically appear in front of people.

  • you seem sad ):

  • I think you have a really nice hair and in my opinion it looked plenty volumized even without crimping the top. =) But it also looked good after you crimped it too. =) You have really nice skin and pretty hair. I was wondering, if a person has long curly hair that gets oily easy can you still use the oil that you used or will it make it oilier? Thanks!

  • Hi Fuz ^_^ After watching this vid (and running out of my usual hair products) I wanted to try the tsubaki goodie. I found a website that sold the yanagiya hello kitty tsubaki cream so I can't wait to try that O_O Baby steps for me ^_^ it's hard for me to change products :p I also got the DHC goodie since sasa has that back in stock now. Hopefully it won't take too long to get the sasa mail (fingers, toes, and hairs crossed hehe). Thank you for your informative vid!!

  • Btw, here's my crimper story, which brings me back to childhood. My friend owned one and asked me to do her hair for elem. grad…I had never used it before, and didn't think of just doing only the top/bottom section for a settle look. So I crimped her ENTIRE head. It poof-ed like a poodle. We also didn't have hair spray available...so we improvised and used sparkly gel, which caused the crimper to sizzle and steam.. Omgosh, what were we thinking…?? lol...

    That's not good right??

  • Ohhh…I feel like you've just opened up my eyes to a hair styling secret 8O…so going to buy a crimper now!

  • hmm.. your hair already has a good amount of volume on its own even before this process.

so would you recommend the revlon crimper or to go for a hot tools one?

  • I have a crimper!!! And omg, I never use it!!! I allays make the associations with crazy hair that looks like a lion!!! Definitely I'll try to do this! Thank you for this great tip!

  • omg!!! why don't more people do this method to volumize their hair?! Like I think here in america, crimpers got a bad rap because it was kind of 80's, but such a simple concept as using it at the roots.. why oh why! america can be so behind.
