He wishes none shall perish but we have freewill.. and need to choose . I got asked that question the other day...one of my sunday school kids asked if he doesnt  want anyone to perish why doesn't everyone believe in him.. A little girl answered with free will. i was so shocked at the wisdom of the kids.. it was a proud moment as a teacher. I love my kids ..

But, in the book of Isaiah he is told to be so beaten up that even His own mother Mary, or any of His followers knew Him.
