Essay contest and Benjamin Franklin Summer Institute 6:57

The American Embassy organizes an essay contest. Belgian students ages 16-18 are invited to enter the competition by writing an essay starting with Dear Mr. President: Heres How I would Improve U.S.-European Relations... The winner of the essay context will travel to the United States to take part in a summer institute for young Americans and Europeans in the Summer of 2010. The institute will be three-to four-weeks in duration between late June and late August.

Line Kuppens and Adrien Rorive took part in the 2008 edition of the Summer Institute. In this video they comment on the Institute, explain what motivated them and how it benefited them. They advise other young people to grasp this opportunity and participate in the contest.
