Together Forever Chapter 1 Part 3

"I will, on one condition...I have your apple," she said. "You told me when I was five that I needed to have some sort of fruit everyday to stay healthy," she added.
"Fine," Candie handed her the apple. "You better never get sick if I always give you my fruit!" she joked. Breakfast was over, so the girls proceeded up to their room to get ready for an interview.
"Adults don't get sick so you wouldnt need it anyway," she said, following her sister.
"I am older than you, but that doesn't make me an adult! Im only 17!! If I was an adult we wouldn't be stuck in this place" Candie explained. She hated being called an adult. Just something about the word made her feel old. Sure she was like a mother to Andee, but that does not make her an adult!
"Sorry," Andee said.
"You don't have to be sorry. You didn't know! Now put on the nicest thing you can find. We have an interview today, and I have a feeling that this one might be the one!" Candie said, excited.
"Does that mean I have to wear a dress?" she asked nervously. Andee HATED dresses.
"No, don't worry. You don't have to wear a dress. Just put on something nice, like maybe a skirt. And no Andee, a dress and a skirt are two different things," Candie suggested.
"I know that," she said. "But a skirt?" she asked.
"Fine," Candie sighed. "How about really nice pants and a nice blouse?" Candie suggested. "We do have to look presentable if we want a real family before I'm 18!"
"Fine," Andee said, giving in.
Candie was satisfied that her sister finally decided to get dressed in something nice.
"Thank you sis," Candie thanked. "I'm going to the bathroom to apply my make-up. I'll be out in a sec. Get dressed while I'm gone," Candie explained.
She made a face at her sister when she said makeup. Her sister didn't see, thankfully. Andee went over to the closet and got out a black spotted skirt with a black bow that was not too long, not too short and added white leggings under it. She picked a black and white blouse with a black bow around her waist. Lastly, she put on some black converse. "How do I look?" she asked, showing her sister.
"You look amazing! Thanks for putting on the skirt for me Andee. But Andee...converse really?" Candie complained. "Well I have no place for complaining. You are wearing a skirt, so I am allowing you the converse," Candie sighed. "How do I look?"
She showed off her black and blue checkered strapless dress to her sister. Over it, she was wearing a black studded belt, and she was also wearing black sequined flats. Her make-up was applied lightly, but it was still evident that she was make-up happy. She had on black eye-liner and black mascara with blue eye shadow. She was wearing pink blush, and pink lip-gloss.
"Great! And I wanted to wear leggings, so I put the skirt on. I truthfully think you shouldn't wear make-up, because you're beautiful without it," said Andee. She quickly soaked her hair and decided to let it air-dry after she brushed it in order to get her normal ringlets.
"Well you know I can't give up make-up!! That goes against all the standards I live by! And I don't care why you're wearing a skirt, as long as you are wearing one. You should wear one more often though sis. You look great in them. Oh and one day while you're sleeping I might just have to put some light make-up on you. Oh and by the way, you're hair is very pretty like that sis. I just straightened mine with the witch's flat iron. She won't notice I used it! Will she?" Candie rambled.
