  • Thank You For Posting; Emperor's New Clothes; exactly, and everyone is supposed to 'approve' of Yoko, or fear being called a racist.

Yoko 'Grape-Fruit-Cake' Ono's alleged singing sounds like a car whose ignition is stuck, and Sean sings just like her.

    Cheers!

  • Never thought that Yoko got praise or risk being called racists. I always thought it was critics giving praise to John Lennon after he died and Yoko "inherits" it if you will since shes the closest thing having been his wife.

  • What year is this?

  • the stern clip is from 92. I have no idea the year of the clip Stern is playing.

  • I agree completely. Lennon could crap into a mic and Beatles fans would buy it,so they honor his wife. Poor John! He gets to jam with his hero, and Yoko ruins it. Sorry,i meant poor Chuck.

  • SHUT THAT DIRTY JAP UP!!!!!!

  • @rockerduff1231 dick cavett? lennon said those exact words

  • @rockerduff1231 There's no direct quote from Lennon there.

  • @MrHaircut1 way to directly quote lennon there

  • ... Don't Let Me Down is another beautiful one about her. Who knows what other ones wouldn't have existed without her influence? Not to mention all his solo stuff and the other three Beatles solo stuff. If you're going to blame Yoko for the Beatles break-up, if you think she caused it, at least give her credit for causing what all 4 Beatles did when and after they broke up. Because if she caused the end of the Beatles, she caused the beginning of 4 solo careers.

  • Without Yoko, John Lennon's songs including what he did in the Beatles on the albums Abbey Road, Let it Be and some of the White Album, wouldn't be what they are. Especially the ones directly about and inspired by her. I Want You (She's So Heavy) wouldn't exist without her and it's one of my favorite Beatles songs. The beautiful song 'Because' came about from her playing a classical song on the piano and John asking her to play the chords backwards and that became the song 'Because'...

  • i think it the weird singing kinda works in a way. i kinda like it. it made the music interesting. but i would like it without yoko as well.

  • Yoko's mom should have swallowed her. Not only did she ruin the Beatles (I'm not a fan personally but apparently they made good music at some point) but she plagued the world not only with her own horrendous vocals but also Sean Lennon's. I would rather listen to an entire family of howler monkeys get macheted to death by a Mexican hit squad than Sean or Yoko.

  • the fact that the top comment is "shut that dirty jap up!" says alot about the assholes who jump on the "i hate yoko bandwagon..."

  • Wow, This made me realize how frighteningly similar Yoko and the B-52's are, whereas the B-51's are just having fun, Yoko takes her work too seriously as if she were an actual singer

  • @AngelofMusic8587 excuse me the proper term is NIP
