Corey Ellis is Endorsed by Citizen Action of New York for Mayor of Albany

Citizen Action of the Capital District announced that it has endorsed Corey Ellis for Mayor of the City of Albany. Corey Ellis has shown great leadership in his willingness to challenge the status quo that has brought our city a decimated housing stock, a debt-burdened budget and an increase in gang activity and violence, said Anita Thayer, Co-Chair of Citizen Action of the Capital District. Its clear that it is time to change the way this city does business. This city needs a leader who can professionalize the city management, engage in a transparent, public budget process, and make city government work for all citizens.
