At long last! I've had many many people request this scene over a long period of time but I've held it off for the time I can find a perfect Ultimecia, and look where I found her? in Final Fantasy Still! ;D

ULTIMECIA: I enlisted the help of ms. Danielle McRae who is such an awesome voice actress. She really blew me away with her performance and she's so sweet to have done this with me.

GARLAND: also I enlisted the aid of yet another FFSTILL epic voice actor. None other than the brutally epic 14thOmega!! I got him to give a few lines of Garland.

SQUALL LEONHART: for those familiar with my Squall voice/s I have two versions of his voice. one completely original and the other taken from Doug Erholtz (Squall's original voice actor). Now, over time I've received mixed reception on which take people like most. Some have argued that they like how iconic Erholtz's version is to the character while others like how youthful my original rendition is. I actually took statistics and this is what I have gathered:

Original Rendition (can be heard in XBlackTaintedHeartXs FFVIII Fandub)
47% viewers
Doug Erholtz inspired (can be heard in other FFVIII fandubs I'm in)
50% viewers
Doesn't matter whichever rendition I do
3% viewers

I also noted this:
Majority of Fandubbers prefer my original rendition
Majority of Non-fandubbers/AMV makers prefer the Erholtz inspired
Majority of Squall Leonhart fans prefer my original rendition
Majority of Squall Leonhart voice actors prefer my original rendition
Majority of non-VA/dissidia fans prefer Erholtz inspired

so taking from that, I decided to create this nice little middle ground for my Squall voice. I used Erholtz's accent but raised the pitch slightly, just enough for him to sound younger but not too far off that people don't recognize the voice. Erholtz has a way of accessing the grumble in his voice when speaking normally which I don't do. I keep the speech light but enter an airy voice when expressing certain emotions like, sincerity and disbelief or deep thought, a style which is my own.

many may say I sound like the original but for those familiar with Doug Erholtz's work as Squall will beg to differ. you may watch the original scene to hear the difference.

so "NO" I'm not going for a carbon copy of the original. this is just a middle ground to appeal/reconcile everyone's preferences.
